A misleading graph, also known as a distorted graph, is a graph that misrepresents data, resulting in a misuse of statistics and the possibility of drawing an inaccurate conclusion from it.
This graph is misleading since it only shows 2 data sources. It would be much better if the graph was a scatter graph since it can show the increase of tax. This graph also has a weird scale since it starts at 34 instead of 0 which might confuse the audience.
An example of a misleading graph are commonly found in advertisements to boost sales or to grasp the audiences attention.
