Misleading graphs

 Individuals can manipulate graphs by omitting the baseline, manipulating the y-axis, picking out certain types of data, using the wrong graph to display the data and using confusing colour schemes.

This graph is misleading as darker colours like purple and pink tend to depict worse. While in this case, the darker colours are showing improvements in poverty in all age groups. In this graph the colour range should be switchred so that the lighter colours like light blue and light red should be shown as improvements and darker colours like purple and pink should be for the younger age range.
